Message	Get as many names, address, phone numbers, and statements from all of those witnesses as you can. Your GF may help, but her testimony wouldn't be as solid (since she's got an "interest"--you), should this thing go to court. Also, go to the cops, file a report. I think that most places won't give out personal info based on tag numbers, so you might hit a dead end there. Finally, call your insurance and see if they can track this guy down somehow. They usually have more ability to do so...(afterall, if they can't, it's their money!). Give them a copy of the police report, copies of the witnesses' statements, and your claim. Good luck.
